First we did the 8 home shirts (last episode), now we do the 8 away shirts.

And these ones are a step up, as a group.

Note that this is part two, so we don’t have the typical intro blather that everyone loves.

As with the home shirts, Macron has done (mostly) good work for the CanPL teams. Some gorgeous shirts here. And even when they miss, they at least took a swing.

It’s weird but it works, folks. Nail the fundamentals and the wackiness will work.

So simple, so classic. Classy and well done.

9:45 – CAVALRY’S LIGHTNING SASH!

See last episode. WHY is this. Sorry, Cavalry fans / designers, this was a big ol’ miss.

14:55 – VALOUR’S RAWR CLAWS!

This is so wild. Literally, some wild animal. Maybe a dinosaur?

This shirt has some good fundamentals, and then whammo, claw marks.

20:00 – YORK UNITED’S GREEN AND BLUE BANGER

Again, lovely all around for York this season. No quibbles.

25:27 – FORGE’S GREY FLOP

We get it, you like chains.

29:40 – OTTAWA’S ICE

That huge sponsor, but a nearly well done shirt. Maybe not enough of a central thing to hang your hat on?

35:35 – HALIFAX’S PARTY PATTERNS

Needed to lean into the party pattern more. Huge potential. Party pattern. Party pattern.

41:20 – CANPL AWAY KIT WRAP-UP

Some good shirts, some funny shirts. But at least they’re all interesting, right?
